PortfolioMD is not a medical device under UK regulation (UK MDR 2002) or current MHRA Software and AI as a Medical Device guidance. Its intended purpose is professional-development support for the doctor — it does not diagnose, treat, monitor, predict, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and it does not act on patient data for a clinical purpose. This determination has been formally documented and confirmed by the Clinical Safety Officer.

DCB0129 — Clinical Risk Management

Although PortfolioMD is not a medical device, it is a health IT system used by clinicians in connection with NHS practice. PortfolioMD Ltd therefore complies with DCB0129 (Clinical Risk Management: its Application in the Manufacture of Health IT Systems). A Hazard Log, Clinical Safety Case Report, and named Clinical Safety Officer are maintained. These documents are available on request for NHS procurement and DTAC assessments.

Clinical Safety Officer	The named Clinical Safety Officer is a GMC-registered doctor and NHS Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) with experience in clinical digital transformation. Full name and credentials are provided to NHS procurement and DTAC assessors on request.

PortfolioMD Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a Data Controller — registration reference C1947802, registered 1 June 2026. Full details of data processing are set out in the Privacy Policy.

PortfolioMD uses Plausible Analytics — a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service that collects no personal data and requires no cookie consent banner. No advertising trackers, no third-party marketing pixels, and no profiling of individual users.

As a data subject you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@portfoliomd.co.uk. We will respond within one calendar month.
